Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our Old Man Emu upper control arms custom fit for the front. Now, folks, these are going to fit some different year makes and models of the Toyotas and possibly some other vehicles, so make sure you're checking the fit guide here at etrailer.com. Be sure you're getting the right parts the first time. If you're not sure, you can always reach out to us and we can assist you as well.
Now, these, as you probably know, are going to give you a better alignment after a lift. So, they're built for 2-inch lifts. They have been designed to complete the Old Man Emu suspension system, sold separately, and GVM upgrades for improved handling and tire wear. They're double-forged construction. It features a forged ball joint housing and eyelets to add strength in off-road conditions.
It's got a nice, elegant powder-coat finish. They have maintenance-free GIIRO bushings in each side here, that's going to give you, you know, less maintenance because, again, grease-free design delivers high-quality performance with no upkeep. But then you also have the ball joint here, very high quality, it can pivot and do its thing. And what's neat is you can take out the greaser there, and then you can insert this heavy-metal cap right over there into the greaser hole. And then you put your greaser, maybe in the glove box, in a baggie or something, but that keeps us from getting damaged, beat up during normal wear and tear in off-road usage.
Again, you're going to have ABS wire mounts and these will fit within the factory wheel well. So there's no guesswork during installation with the Old Man Emu kits. Folks, these are, again, designed to complete an Old Man Emu suspension system. So again, if you don't have that already, make sure you get that whole kit, this is just part of that kit.
